Marchukova Hut

The farmstead “Marchukova hut”, situated in the village of Zheludok in Shchuchin district will charm you with its unique nature and magnificently fresh air. Wooden house, which has been preserved since 1914, is full of calmness and coziness.

The hosts managed to do the impossible, creating all the modern facilities here. All the interior details have been preserved here since the time of construction - windows, doors, roof - they are almost hundred years old. The house literally breathes with history, it has experienced a lot, and the owners will gladly tell you about it. On the first floor there is a lounge for guests, a bedroom and a nursery. A small fireplace room is the ideal place to spend an evening chatting with friends in a winter evening with a glass of mulled wine.

Absolutely homely, warm atmosphere of this home is complemented by an interesting menu that offers the hostess. In addition to national dishes, you can taste the rabbit in wine sauce or stuffed goose, which are the signature dishes of the "Marchukova hut".

The farmstead is surrounded with the beautiful forest and a river. Upon request, guests will be able to go hunting or fishing and the owner will offer his help. In the evening you will be served an authentic Russian sauna, grace-filled hot steam which will return the courage and make you healthier.
