Ingredients:
● milk (1 Cup),
● eggs (3 PCs.)
● egg whites (5-6 pieces),
● butter (100 g),
● flour (200 g),
● lemon zest
● sugar (about 2 cups),
● raisins (200-300 g),
● walnuts
● dried apricots,
● poppy seeds (100 g).
Cooking
Beat the milk, yeast, eggs, butter and flour with a mixer, add the lemon zest and sugar. Leave the dough in the refrigerator for a day. Remove from the refrigerator and add the flour.
For the filling, you need to beat the whites and sugar, add raisins, nuts, dried apricots and poppy seeds. Roll out part of the dough into a thin pancake, put the filling and twist the roll, cut it into equal parts and put it vertically in the oven for 1 hour (bake at a temperature of 150-180 °C).
Remove from the oven, cool and serve. It is considered a festive dish.
