Cone jam

Ingredients:

● fir cones,

● water (3 l),

● sugar (3 kg).

Young bumps appear from mid-May. You need to collect cones no more than 2 cm long. You need 3 liters of water and 3 kg of sugar per kilogram of cones. Wash the cones, mix all the ingredients. Bring to a boil, but do not boil. Let stand for a day or two, then repeat the boiling procedure until the jam thickens. Pour into jars.

This jam not only has a rich and full flavour, but also helps in the treatment of colds.
