Lumps

Composition:

● potatoes (2 kg),

● egg (1 piece),

● sour cream,

● onions,

● flour (1 tbsp),

● salt,

● Bay leaf

● bacon, meat, mushrooms for the filling.

Cooking

Grate 2 kg potatoes on a small grater. Squeeze well through cheesecloth. Squish the mass and add salt, the egg, 4-5 tablespoons flour, starch from squished potatoes.

Boil half pot of water add salt and a bay leaf. Make a round lump from potato dough, knead on the palm, put the filling in the middle and wrap it up. Put these lumps in boiling water.

Cook lumps for 30-40 minutes, slightly stirring to avoid sticking to the bottom.

From this quantity of potatoes you will get 15 medium lumps.

Filling

Dice the bacon and meat in small cubes, finely chop onions and fry the mushrooms. Season the mixture with salt, add spices to taste (mushrooms can be dried). Also any meat could be the filling.

Serve with sour cream, bacon and onions.
