● milk or yogurt (1 Cup)
● dry yeast (1 tsp)
● salt (1 tsp)
● sugar (1 tbsp)
● vegetable oil (2 tbsp)
● flour (2.5–3 cups)
● sour cream
In warm milk, dilute the yeast, add butter, salt, sugar, egg, flour and knead the dough. Cover with a towel and set aside for an hour to allow the dough to come up.
Then you need to knead the dough, divide it into pieces and roll out a thickness of 0.5–0.7 mm.
Then fry the rolled crumpets in hot sunflower oil on both sides until golden brown.
Put the finished crumpets on a plate. While they are hot, add sour cream and sprinkle with sugar. On top of the crumpet, put the next ready-made one and also smear it with sour cream and sprinkle with sugar. Do this with all the crumpets.
Sour cream can be used at home or in the store, depending on the taste.
