Christmas roast duck

Ingredients:

● duck,

● pepper, salt, coriander, basil, thyme;

● honey,

● apples,

● rice,

● raisins,

● prunes,

● orange.

Method:

Wash the duck, soak it in water for a few hours. To get rid of the specific smell of meat, you can put half an orange inside the carcass.

Then rub the duck meat with pepper and salt, coat the carcass inside with honey, add coriander, basil, thyme. Leave the duck to marinate for 2-4 hours. 

For the filling, peel the apples, boil the rice, add raisins, prunes, oranges – you will get a sweet and delicious filling, which is very popular with children. As an alternative, you can put, for example, sour cabbage with mushrooms inside. Sew up the stuffed duck and put it in the oven.
