Initiative "The Aroma of Bialowieza"

The idea of the project is to link seven partner estates from the villages of Uglyany, Goly Borok, Melnitsa and Belaya. They plant herbs, produce tea drinks (each makes their own drink), establish honey production. 21 beehives and more than 2 thousand seedlings were purchased.

In March, each of the seven farmsteads planted a ”starter kit" of herbs for phytotea. Each certainly contains cranberries, blueberries, mint, oregano and several other plants that are traditional for herbal collections. The project provides master classes of experts who will teach beginners the subtleties of the phytotea recipes, so that each of the components complements other flavors, but does not dominate over them. Polish households, engaged in making phytotea on an industrial basis, will also share their experience.
