Duck for Christmas

Ingredients:

● duck,

● pepper, salt, coriander, basil, thyme,

● honey,

● apples,

● rice,

● raisins,

● prunes,

● orange.

 

Directions:

 

Wash the duck, soak it in water for several hours. To eliminate the peculiar smell of meat, you can put the half of the orange into it.

Then rub it with pepper and salt, spread the honey inside, add coriander, basil, thyme. Leave the duck to marinate for 2-4 hours.

For the stuffing peel apples, boil the rice, add the raisins, prunes, orange – you’ll get a sweet and tasty stuffing, which is liked by the children. Alternatively, you can put sour cabbage with mushrooms inside (this filling was much more frequently used and liked by the adults). Sew up stuffed duck and put in the oven.
